Accessibility Information
We have tried to make the Shed as accessible as possible by following many federal code guidelines. We also sought out the advice of several individuals with disabilities who have recently built or renovated spaces for themselves and others.

- Level 3/4 inch crushed gravel, extra-wide parking pad.
- Gently sloped smooth concrete walkway to the main entrance, minimum width 42 inches.
- Evenly spaced night lighting.
- No-step access to wrap around patio and main entrance.
- Step-free zero threshold at 35 inch wide main entrance.
- 2 inch high threshold at living room and bedroom sliding doors.
- Level access from patio to BBQ and firewood storage.
- 42 inch main entrance hallway connecting kitchen/living area, laundry, bathroom and bedroom.
- All cabinet drawers are roll-out style; no upper cabinets.
- 34 1/2 inches between counter and island.
- Drawer style dishwasher.
- Lower side-opening freezer and oven.
- Front controls on gas and induction hobs.
- 29 inch high cantilevered folding prep table at wheelchair height.
- Stackable washer and dryer access in main hallway.
- 33 inch wide access to step-free roll in bathroom.
- Roll-in shower stall with grab bars.
- Shower seat.
- Hand-held shower head; lever style faucet.
- Tilt away grab bar beside toilet.
- 18 inch high toilet seat.
- 17 inch high shower seat.
- 27 inch clearance below bathroom sink.
- 34 1/2 inches to top of bathroom sink.
- 21 inch high bed mounted on non-protruding pedestal.
- 53 inch clearance between bed and accessible clothes closet.
- Reading lights on bedside tables.
- All light switches lowered to 39 inches.
- All receptacles raised to 20 inches.
- Powered window blind in bedroom controlled by remote.
