"Traveling times have changed recently so we've all had to adapt. We usually fly somewhere this time of year no such luck though. Thank God for Kathleen and Moondance, we're so lucky to have access to natural beauty so close by here in BC. Clearly it's beautiful and everything looks perfect but for me it was nice to experience an Air BnB that is exactly how it was described. Too often we've been disappointed with places we've rented before because of inaccurate information, this is not the case with this architectural gem. Everything is as advertised, it is sparkling clean on arrival, the scenery is second to none and it's absolutely perfect for disconnecting from reality. I recommend bringing all your supplies on arrival so you don't have to leave until checkout day. Grateful for the experience. Thank you."

"We had a wonderful time at Moon Dance, thank you again! We sat out on the Cabin deck both evenings until nearly 11pm. There was not a breath of wind and the bay was like glass. On Wednesday night we saw some strange ripples reflecting the moonlight out on the bay. Something large, two things in fact, were moving quickly just below the surface. As we watched one of them veered and approached the cabin at high speed, getting remarkably close. It created a wake that had small waves lapping against the shoreline. Shortly after it passed, we heard a brief ‘huff’, like something taking a breath of air. It was probably a couple of seals chasing salmon snacks. Surreal, a bit spooky, but very cool."

"Kathleen and Brent's well appointed and spacious cabin was the perfect getaway. Located a short drive from Pender Harbour where you can pick up supplies or go for a meal. Good hiking and kayaking are close by or just sit on the deck and watch the tide go in & out. The landscaping is beautiful too - you won't want to leave."

"This is a wonderful and spacious cabin in a beautiful location. It is well appointed with comfortable furniture, lovely lighting, and so much beautiful west coast art. And when the sparkling sun reflects off the water at high tides the moon mobile in the living room really does dance. It's mesmerizing. And the bathtub very comfortably fits two! If you can tear yourself away from the deck, there are great hikes in the area, and Ruby Lake is also very pleasant. The hosts were lovely and communication was excellent. The village of Madeira Park is a very short drive away, and is very cute. This is a wonderful place."

"This was a perfect getaway for our family of three. It is a beautiful drive from the ferry as the Cabin is located in an amazing part of Sunshine Coast. The cabin is in the woods, the water is few steps away; a serene place for reading, writing, swimming, or just relaxing on the nice terrace. Watching the changing tide made the stay that much more magical. The house had everything we needed. Kathleen was a very kind and helpful host. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!"

"Charming and comfortable art-filled cabin with a fabulous covered veranda to take in the deadly quiet of the tidal bay. Not a sandy beach, but nevertheless a very peaceful private oasis. If you are looking for the chance to decompress this is a wonderful spot to do it. Terrific wood-fired stove to enjoy, and the little things are thoughtfully looked after. My husband and I relaxed completely! The owners are a treat to deal with..."

"The Perch (and its nearby companion the Cabin) are the ideal place to escape from the hubbub. Nestled in the forest with peekaboo glimpses of Oyster Bay and Mt Daniel, it is quiet and peaceful. Absolutely beautiful in the fall. The Perch has a well-equiped kitchen, a spacious living and dining area, and a cosy bedroom area with a large tub that you can relax in forever. The internet service is fast so unashamedly binging Netflix on the couch while the fall rains came down was perfect. Thanks to Kathleen and Brent for a stress-free stay."

"The Perch is a perfect place for a quiet getaway, it is a very private setting, surrounded by nature, a tidal bay adjoins the property and there are water glimpses from the deck. The cottage is modern, in excellent condition and very well maintained and equipped. We were impressed by the architecture, the soft furnishings and art work. It has a functional layout, with a fireplace and a bathtub in the bedroom. The deck is a sun porch and benefits from the sun into the late evening. There is a propane barbecue on the deck, so al fresco dining is a highlight."

"Once you've found the perfect holiday home, it's always a dilemma whether to keep the secret to yourself or enthusiastically share it with others. The climate at the Sunshine Coast, the location of the holiday home under shady trees directly at the sea, the facilities but also the architecture of the holiday home, the peace and infrastructure in the area (restaurants, shopping, destinations...), no matter what you look at.
